Wakefield High School

Our Firm provided MEP/FP design services for this 350,000 S.F. High School. The Project was a combination renovation/new construction. LEED strategies included photovoltaics, solar water heating, and rainwater harvesting and geothermal heat pumps. Project was LEED Gold Certified.

St. Christopher’s Luck Leadership Center
Richmond, Virginia

Dunlap & Partners provided M/E/P engineering design on this new Charles Luck Student Center. A new main dining hall anchors the building and serves as a venue for community gathering events. The project also features a ‘loud library’ equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment allowing student collaboration.

Collegiate School – Academic Commons
Richmond, Virginia

Dunlap and Partners provided engineering design services for this 27,000 SF building. The project houses the school’s library volumes and provides dining, meeting and classroom space. It also takes advantage of technological advances. The Economic Development Authority was responsible for the issuance of bonds of up to $24.5 million for the project.

Dunlap & Partners provided engineering design services for the University’s first student housing project in 50 years. The project, a 68,000 SF residence hall and student community center, will house residential students as well as provide space for workshops, business meetings or may be used as an artistic venue.

Dunlap & Partners provided design for a new 57,000 SF student dining facility for the Academic Campus of VCU. The program spaces included a central kitchen, a dry storage, cooler/freezer storage, multiple servery locations and kiosks with dining areas located throughout the facility. Our engineers provided MEP/FP design for a 300,000 SF student center building which became the main center piece of the campus. Building spaces included library functions and archival spaces, movie theater, film production facility, traditional classrooms, food court and student gathering areas. The cooling was provided by a central plant with ice thermal storage.

Engineering design services were provided for a new 160,000 SF middle school with individual classroom wings for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. The program included a gymnasium, an auditorium, and a cafeteria.

Our team provided design for a renovation of 190,000 SF of existing classroom and administrative space and construction of 90,000 SF of new space. Program included a 900 seat auditorium and a gymnasium. There were multiple project phases over three academic years.

Our engineers provided MEP/FP design projects which included the HVAC renovation of the Middle School Building, Upper School Building & Music Building. Also, the design for a new 25,000 SF science building and new Lower School Campus consisting of 46,000 SF of new construction and 50,000 SF of renovated space. Some features included central chilled water plant with ice thermal storage on both the Upper and Lower School Campus.
