Charles Ayers has managed all aspects of HVAC projects in the commercial, institutional, industrial, retail, hospitality, financial and healthcare market sectors. Some of his recent projects include new system designs and installations, tenant improvements, system retrofits and main HVAC plant replacements and upgrades.
He has extensive experience with building energy analysis and simulation modeling. He is knowledgeable in HVAC system design when considering energy conservation and efficiency for LEED projects. System types include energy recovery for 100% outside air systems, demand controlled ventilation, high efficiency rooftop variable air volume systems and geothermal systems.
A native “Richmonder” Charles attended St. Christopher’s School and graduated in 1997 from the Virginia Military Institute with a B.S. in mechanical engineering.
Charles is another one that is constantly on the move and has a lot of interests including music, anything associated with football, coaching and playing lacrosse, and getting involved in as many rec sports as possible to include softball and bowling.
He and his wife Lois reside in Richmond with their sons, both two legged and four legged.
