M/E design for 650,000 GSF Continuing Care Retirement Community with programming to include independent, assisted and Alzheimer care living units.

MCV – Biotech One Research Park

110,000 SF, three story research laboratory facility. Included VAV tracking system for laboratory use.

Williamsburg Community Hospital

M/E/P design for renovation of NICU.

Lexington Medical Center Expansion
Columbia, SC
350,000 SF expansion and renovation of nearly all major departments in the hospital including a new Surgery Suite with 21 new operating rooms, new central sterile and materials handling areas, renovations to the central laboratory, food services, Critical Care Unit and related areas, and a 60,000 SF shell for a new Radiology and Imaging Suite.  Also included was a major addition to the central energy plant and relocation of all underground utilities into a new tunnel through a complex utility phasing plan.  Significant phasing issues were addressed to keep all existing operating rooms and sterile core in operation during construction.

Other projects at Lexington Medical Center include:

  • Construction of a new MRI suite.  Project required identifying and connecting to existing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing/fire protection systems in the main hospital building.  The project also required that all portions of the existing radiology department remain in operation during construction.
  • Construction of a new heart catheterization suite.  This project required identifying and connecting to existing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing/fire protection systems in the main hospital building.  Project also required the addition of a new rooftop air handling unit and new telecommunications systems.
